You can access advice, testing and treatment without a GP referral, either at local clinics or through the online portal, which lets you request discreet postal STI self‑test kits, book or change appointments and view results securely. Your information is treated sensitively, with sexual health records kept separate and shared only with your consent, except in limited circumstances where there is a legal duty to do so. The service can help with STI testing and treatment, HIV and syphilis screening, contraception (including emergency contraception), pregnancy testing, and general sexual health advice, counselling and support. Free condoms and lubricant are also available through clinics and online options, helping you protect yourself and your partners.
