UTurn is a King’s Award-winning youth charity based in Clacton-on-Sea, supporting young people aged 9–18, and up to 25 with additional needs, across Tendring and Essex.

We offer mentoring, practical help, activities and programmes that build confidence and brighter futures.n and connections between organisations, agencies, and businesses.

CVST represents the Voluntary sector. We provide a broad overview of needs and give a neutral and objective viewpoint to ensure the sector has a voice. And is assisted toward sustainability.

We also support other voluntary sector representatives to have their say. And act as a strategic partner with local councils, funders, health providers, and government to influence policy, plans and strategy.

UTurn was created to provide positive, preventative support for young people who may be facing emotional, behavioural or social challenges.

Our work focuses on early intervention, trusted relationships and creating safe spaces where young people feel heard, supported and encouraged.

We believe every young person deserves the chance to build confidence, develop positive routines and feel hopeful about their future.

We support young people aged 9–18, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, who may be experiencing challenges at home, at school or in the community.

We also work alongside families, carers, schools and professionals to help young people feel safer, more connected and better supported.

Support may include early help, mentoring, structured activities, targeted programmes, signposting and practical guidance.
