Caroline Smith is a British Sign Language Interpreter specialising in arts and live events. She has been signing since 2011 and regularly works with organisations and venues across East Anglia and beyond to help make productions and events accessible for Deaf audiences. She is passionate about inclusive performance and works with clients who share that commitment to accessibility.

Caroline’s experience spans a wide range of genres, from pantomime, poetry and comedy to musicals. She also interprets at festivals and one-day events, including First Light Festival, Latitude, Forest Live and Victorious.

Based in Suffolk, Caroline brings creativity, experience and a genuine passion for the arts to every project. Outside of work, she is a devoted, and by her own admission slightly obsessive, Ipswich Town fan, a houseplant enthusiast and is happily ruled by two cats.
