Cake Decorating Competition at St Osyth Summer Sounds
Calling all home bakers, icing artists and cake enthusiasts, it’s time to show off your skills at the St Osyth Summer Sounds Cake Decorating Competition. As part of this year’s festival fun, we’re inviting YOU to take part in a joyful, family-friendly celebration of creativity, cake and community. Better yet – entrants receives a free family ticket to the festival
How It Works
We’re accepting just 15 entries each day, so if you’ve got a flair for baking and decorating, this is your chance to shine!
Bring your homemade, decorated cake to the festival and have it displayed in our Chefs Tent.
Your cake must be 100% edible – decorations included – and safe to store at room temperature.
Judging takes place at 2:30pm each day, by Joe Hurd.
Daily Themes
We’ll have a different theme each day to inspire your creation:
Saturday 30 August – Sounds of Summer - Think music, sunshine, seaside fun, or your favourite summer song… let your imagination run wild!
Sunday 31 August – Local Legends - From St Osyth myths and history to Essex icons or countryside charm – it’s time to celebrate local flavour.
